We know how important storage is for you and your family. This is why we are able to offer you the opportunity to purchase an external storage box next to your holiday home. Storage boxes with Haven cost £610 (including VAT). If you are interested in purchasing a storage box, please contact your park team.
There are some guidelines around positioning of storage boxes due to council regulations and fire risks, which means not all pitches will be able to have a storage box fitted. All storage boxes must be sited on 8 (600x600mm) flagstones or a level concrete base. Storage boxes sited on grass or gravel are not permitted. Your Head of Experience can confirm if there is enough space for you to have a storage box.
To ensure storage boxes are safe and positioned correctly please ensure you receive approval from your Head of Experience before purchasing your box.
I’ve just part exchanged and I’ll be moving pitch – can I take my storage box with me?
Yes, as long as your new pitch has the space to comply with the guidelines.
How many storage boxes am I allowed to have?
Each pitch is allowed to have one storage box.
I want to buy a storage box from the local hardware store.
If you would like to buy your own storage box rather than purchasing through Haven this is of course an option, but please bear in mind the storage box you are purchasing will need to meet the required colour, safety testing and specifications as the Haven storage boxes. The storage box must to be no larger (externally) than 1440mm(h) x 1820mm(w) x 920mm(d). It must be made of fully-galvanised and powder-coated steel in cream, white or green colour. All fittings and hinges must be stainless steel and have a secure locking mechanism. Please ask before buying your own box as it may not comply with our policy.
