What improved connectivity can I expect in my holiday home?

Haven and Vodafone have worked to optimise coverage and performance for Owners.

The best way to create a WiFi network in your holiday home is to get a “mobile broadband router”, which can be simply plugged into a power socket.

You will also need to buy Vodafone data (a SIM card) – you can choose from a variety of plans depending on how much you want to spend or how much data you think you will use.

These Vodafone SIM cards are widely available, including at most newsagents and supermarkets.

Performance will vary based on the device you are using, other users, weather conditions and your position on the park. You should expect performance of up to 1Gbps, typically 100-300mbps with a good quality 5G device with a Vodafone SIM card.

At peak times when lots of people are using the internet, this performance may reduce, but should not impact normal streaming, email and web access.

Certain locations within the park that are furthest away from the mast may only achieve a 4G signal, or 50-200mbps.

Vodafone also sell a number of suitable “mobile broadband routers”, which also come with options to add data bundles.  You can find out more via the link: Vodafone broadband routers
