- When we refer to Haven we are referring to Haven Leisure Limited.
- To play Bingo you must purchase a ticket on the premises on the day of the event. In order to purchase tickets, you must present a valid Play Pass, Owner's Pass or Friends and Family Owner's Pass. If a guest wishes to access our premises and play Bingo with a Friends and Family Owner's Pass, the Owner must also be present at that time. The Owner must also be present and show their Owner’s Pass in order for a guest to claim a prize.
- Starting times – The game will commence as close as possible to the advertised time as soon as the stake money/cash received has been checked and reconciled to determine prize levels per game(s).
- Haven’s staff (team members), day visitors, or persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to play bingo (whether in person or in proxy) at any time.
- Commencement of play – Before starting, the call operator will ensure that the game is set to 90 numbers.
- When play begins each number will be selected at random and announced as it is identified. Players must mark their cards in such a way that the numbers are sufficiently legible to be easily checked beyond dispute.
- All numbers called will be repeated on indicator boards or by other means (including where required by circumstance, verbally)
- Tickets sold in multiple/strips must not be split or separated from the original strip.
a) Flyer tickets must not be split or damaged in anyway
b) Where tickets have been split or are damaged, any and all claims related to such tickets will be declared void. - Once the calling of any number has been commenced, it is deemed to be called.
- The last number called must form part of the winning claim.
- Correct claims – When a player calls, the claim will be checked with a participating player on a different table which will be overseen by a team member. To collect a prize the player must produce his/her accommodation key and sign for the prize money.
- No further claims will be accepted for a line, or two lines (or other combination) once the next number has been called. No further claims will be accepted for a full house after the ‘last number called’ is announced.
- It is the responsibility of each player to stop the game before the next number is called. Team members or callers are not permitted to accept this as a part of their responsibility on behalf of a player.
- A valid claim has to be supported by a valid game ticket or flyer ticket.
- When a claim is being checked the following items will be announced/displayed:
a) The game being played;
b) The colour and type of card if there are more than one;
c) The pattern number;
d) The last number called;
e) The other numbers on the card; - The caller will then decide on the validity of the claim and announce his decision.
- In the event of more than one claim, the prize money for the game shall be shared equally amongst the winners.
- Game disputes – Any complaint or dispute will be dealt with as required by the Gambling Act, Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice, where that is demanded by current legislation and is relevant to the particular game in question. If the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice are not relevant to the game under dispute, the decision of the general manager will be final.
- Players must not assist or seek to assist any person to break the rules governing gaming on these premises.
- Any player offending the rules will, at the discretion of the site General Manager or Nominated Deputy, be expelled from participating in gaming on those premises.
- If at any time it shall become necessary to close the premises or cancel the bingo facilities, for any cause whatsoever, players shall have no claim at any time whatsoever against Haven.
- All games of bingo played on the premises shall be conducted in accordance with these rules of play for that game for the time being displayed and adopted by Haven.
- These rules may from time to time be repealed, amended or added to by Haven. Any such alterations will be displayed to guests.
- In the event of any breach of these rules by a player, or if in the opinion of Haven a player’s conduct is such that it may bring the bingo into disrepute Haven may, without giving any reason, take steps as it shall in its absolute discretion think fit including expulsion of such a player.
- The company’s complaints and disputes process is available on site, please ask a member of the Haven Leisure limited team (accessible via the Bingo compliance manual).
- In the event of experiencing technical difficulties or failure, the game will be cancelled, all tickets will be void and customers will be offered a refund or if the technology is repairable within the allotted entertainment schedule, new tickets to commence a new game will be issued by the Haven Leisure limited team.
